Current Project Daiya Foods

Wales McLelland is proud to have constructed a new 400,000 sq. ft. production, distribution, and storage facility for Daiya Foods. Recently completed, this project represents one of the largest food production facilities of its kind in the province, which includes Daiya’s corporate headquarters and Innovation Centre. The facility was originally built in 1970, and the repurposing of what once was a distribution building, into a state of the art food production facility, has been a rewarding experience for all Wales McLelland team members. Wales McLelland has completed Phase II of this tenant fit-out for Daiya foods. Complete with 56,000 square feet of office space which functions as Daiya’s new head office and Innovation Centre, this tenant improvement includes new R&D, Food Test, and Sensory Kitchens. This new office is built to LEED Certified Standards to put forward Daiya’s green initiatives and reduce their ecological footprint.
